HOWWOW is a scenic container-style restaurant located in Dakeng, Taichung. Designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows, the restaurant brings the beauty of its surrounding garden landscape into the indoor space. On warm winter afternoons, sunlight streams through the windows, illuminating the greenery and flowers outside and creating a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The colorful shipping containers and rainbow-themed entrance have also made HOWWOW a popular Instagram check-in destination. In addition, HOWWOW is a pet-friendly restaurant. Pets are welcome indoors when placed in carriers or strollers, while leashes are required in outdoor areas.

The story of HOWWOW began with a simple conversation. Someone asked, “Can you make delicious food and great drinks for me?” The reply was, “HOWWOW” —inspired by the Chinese phrase hao o ( “好喔” ).

Although it was a casual response, it carried a sincere commitment to delivering quality food and beverages.
