Single-Zone IH Hob - SY1S

If this induction hob is not working properly, it is not necessarily a malfunction. Please check the following items first. If the cause of the issue cannot be identified, please contact our Service Center immediately at : + 886 4 2376 5618.

	Cookware base diameter is less than 12 cm	Some cookware has a diameter over 12 cm but a base under 12 cm	Please use a larger pan or pot
Suddenly stops heating	Overheat protection has been activated	a. Heating will automatically stop if an empty pan or pot is heated b. Heating will automatically stop if the oil temperature exceeds 250°C during deep-frying
	Air inlet or exhaust outlet blocked, preventing proper heat dissipation	A blocked air inlet or exhaust outlet can cause the internal electronic components to overheat. The induction hob will automatically stop heating to protect itself	Please ensure the air inlet and exhaust outlet are clear and unobstructed
	Ambient temperature is too hot	a. Heating appliances such as gas stoves or ovens are installed near the induction hob b. If heating appliances are placed too close to the induction hob, residual heat may increase its temperature and result in overheating of the electronic control board	1. Do not place heating appliances such as gas stoves or ovens near the induction hob 2. The induction hob will resume operation once the temperature has cooled down

Protection Codes

During heating, if boiling water overflows onto the control keys or water droplets splash on them, it may cause unintended key operations. Please be careful!
Do not leave the appliance unattended during heating!

EC: F	The device has entered internal overheating protection mode, indicating poor internal heat dissipation or high ambient temperature. Please pause usage, ensure that the exhaust outlet is unblocked and properly cleaned, check that the filter at the bottom of the device is free of obstructions, and make sure there are no high-temperature sources nearby. Wait for 10 minutes before restarting.
EC: H	The device has entered dry-burning prevention mode or overheating protection mode, indicating that the cookware on the cooktop is empty ( dry burning ) or has overheated. Please immediately check whether there are ingredients inside the cookware, if the content has boiled dry, or if the oil temperature is too high during frying. Reminder: Do not continue using cookware that has been deformed due to dry burning.<

EC: S	The internal induction heating coil has overheated. Please pause usage, ensure that the exhaust outlet is unblocked and properly cleaned, check that the filter at the bottom of the device is free of obstructions, and make sure there are no high-temperature sources nearby. Wait for 10 minutes before restarting.
