Ceramic artist #Lin Shan-Shu was born in Zhongliao Township, Nantou County in 1956. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Chinese Culture University and the Graduate Institute of Applied Arts at Tainan National University of the Arts, he specializes in oil painting and ceramic creations, with numerous exhibitions, awards, and works held in public and private collections. Master Lin believes that the unique properties of clay are completely irreplaceable by any other material. Clay can be integrated into everyday life, nurturing the mind, body, and spirit, bringing him back to the pure origin and initial intent of creation. By connecting with and shaping the clay continuously, piece after piece, through dedicated labor and constant creative breakthroughs, his once restless heart has found peace and a true sense of belonging. Though now in his sixties, he continues to grow younger at heart through his passion for art.
