The sea may seem ordinary, yet its essence shifts, seasoned by individual moods and memories. Much like the Amortentia love potion in Harry Potter, it evokes a distinct scent uniquely tied to the person you love. I have always been fascinated by observing human interactions and emotional relationships in daily life, channeling these observations into my work and connecting the subtle emotional ripples I feel—including the memory and warmth of my own lived experiences.
Living under the shadow of a challenging pandemic, how long has it been since we last gazed at the sea? The pandemic has not only restricted our outdoor activities but has also dealt a heavy blow to art solo exhibitions, which traditionally rely on public spaces. As a dynamic space where smart technology meets contemporary humanistic spirit, Easy Gallery has specially invited emerging artist Lin Jia-Shain to collaborate with the brand's identity, curating an indoor sanctuary titled "A Glimpse of Mountains and Seas."
