Correct application method for the waterproof sealing strip: When you receive our IH induction hob, you will find a included [ double-sided waterproof sealing strip ].

This accessory is provided to ensure that water does not seep underneath and cause the appliance to malfunction.

Please follow these application guidelines:

Clean the Surface: Before application, please ensure the bottom edge of the IH induction hob glass is clean and dust-free so that the waterproof sealing strip can adhere properly.

Single-Sided Application: Although the waterproof sealing strip is double-sided, it only needs to be adhered on one side. Apply one side of the waterproof sealing strip along the bottom edges of all four sides of the IH induction hob glass, ensuring the entire perimeter is covered.

Do Not Peel Off the Top Layer: Please note, do not peel off the backing of the top layer. This ensures that the IH induction hob will not stick to the countertop during subsequent maintenance or cleaning.

Waterproof Silicone is Not Recommended: Although some are accustomed to using waterproof silicone to fill gaps, we do not recommend applying silicone after the waterproof sealing strip is in place.

 

This is because it may affect future maintenance and increase the difficulty of cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly.

This installation method not only ensures the secure placement of your IH induction hob but also facilitates any future maintenance and cleaning.
