"2022 Taichung Design Week" is currently taking place at the Taichung Wuri International Exhibition Center. With recent signs of another uptick in pandemic cases, many exhibitors have showcased epidemic prevention and sterilization products, making them a major highlight of the exhibition. Among these, the "UVGI Sky-Lantern," jointly developed by EASY SMART TRANSCEND CO., LTD. and a domestic optoelectronics manufacturer, emphasizes the application of aerospace-grade technology that can rapidly eradicate viruses and bacteria, drawing considerable attention at the venue.

"2022 Taichung Design Week" features a 5-in-1 co-located exhibition series co-driven by the Taichung Real Estate Development Association and the Greater Taichung Real Estate Development Association. It links together the 8th Taiwan International Architecture, Interior Design and Materials Exhibition; the 1st Taiwan Sustainable Development and Low-Carbon Green Building Exhibition; the Taiwan Wood Innovation Application Exhibition & Wood Creativity Life Festival VI; the Taichung Lucky Aquarium & Life Festival & Fortune Cat Festival; and the "One Building, One Furniture • Integrated Design 4.0" Furniture and City Expo. The overarching theme is "Sustainable Cities and Towns x Low-Carbon Living."

Huang Wei-Wen, founder of EASY SMART TRANSCEND CO., LTD., stated that the original mission behind founding the enterprise was anchored in "carbon reduction," "safety," and "happiness." The products developed based on these three guiding principles include the exclusive 3DIH Induction Hob Series and the "Upper-Room Germicidal Air Disinfection Device (named Sky-Lantern)" launched in cooperation with a domestic optoelectronics manufacturer. EASY aspires to create a new world of elegant kitchen life and a secure new environment in the post-pandemic era, helping to quickly suppress the pandemic and protect precious lives.

Huang expressed that among these products, the 3DIH Induction Hob is designed to replace hazardous gas energy with highly efficient electrical energy, while perfectly preserving the strong heat and authentic flavor required for Eastern round-bottom wok stir-frying, making it EASY's superstar product. Currently, the full series of commercial and residential smart IH induction hobs is being showcased at the exhibition venue, allowing the public to wave goodbye to open gas flames and the hazards of gas explosions.

Huang further explained that the "Sky-Lantern" utilizes aerospace-grade technology. Furthermore, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has declared UVGI to be the most powerful sterilization and disinfection catalyst in history, which can effectively and rapidly eliminate viruses, various bacteria, and even allergens and odors.

Huang added that the "Sky-Lantern" is suitable for all indoor spaces; it keeps environments sanitized, safe, and worry-free without requiring personnel evacuation during operation, making it an indispensable, innovative product for epidemic prevention in all public or private spaces.
