Master Chen Xi-Ren is renowned for his unique mineral pigment painting techniques, blending rich colors and vivid expressiveness into his creations.

With masterful brushstrokes, he renders unique imagery that draws the audience deeply into his artistic world.

Born in 1940 in Mingjian Township, Nantou ( Zhuoshui Nanzai ), Master Chen moved north in 1955 to make a living. To acquire a professional skill,

he entered the Shinguang Fine Arts Institute to receive foundational art education, where he studied under his respected teacher, Mr. Huang Ou-Bo, for six years.

In 1959, while working part-time, he took elective courses in flower-and-bird and landscape painting under Professors Lin Yu-Shan and Chang De-Wen at the National Taiwan Normal University night school.

He later taught in the Department of Arts and Crafts at Hsieh-Ho High School of Arts and Crafts and is a member of numerous art associations, including the Taiwan Industrial Design Association,

the Taiwan Graphic Design Association, the Chang-Liu Art Association, the Taiwan Mineral Pigment Painting Association, the Taiwan Green Water Painting Association, and the Nantou Fine Arts Association.

Master Chen Xi-Ren is a highly accomplished artist who has received awards in many major art exhibitions in Taiwan.

Master Chang Cheng-Cheng, on the other hand, specializes in glazed ceramic creations, renowned for his innovative craftsmanship and delicate, organic textures.

Each ceramic piece radiates a unique aura, making viewers feel the nourishment of the earth and the profound power of life.

A native of Zhushan, Nantou, Master Chang Cheng-Cheng is a certified Taiwan House of Crafts artist recognized by the Ministry of Culture. He graduated from the Design Division of the 6th graduating class of the Department of Fine Arts at Chinese Culture University in 1972.

He has served as an advertising art director, Deputy Secretary-General of the Taiwan House of Crafts Association, professional graphic designer, and corporate identity planner,

involved in CIS planning and design projects for brands such as Master Kong. He has held numerous solo ceramic exhibitions across Taiwan and won multiple graphic design awards;

between 2010 and 2011, he also served as an invited stamp designer for Chunghwa Post.

The "Thus I Have Seen" Art Joint Exhibition is proudly hosted by EASY, the pioneer of 3DIH hobs.

We hope to see endless possibilities through Master Chang Cheng-Cheng's continued dedication to ceramic glaze art in his seventies,

and discover endless inspiration through Master Chen Xi-Ren's continued devotion to mineral pigment painting in his eighties—approaching art just "Thus I Have Seen."

This beautifully mirrors the entrepreneurial and inventive spirit of the founder, General Manager Huang Wei-Wen.

The exhibition runs from now until the end of September at Easy Gallery, located at No. 67, Wuquan 1st St., West Dist., Taichung City. Public viewing is welcome Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We look forward to opening new horizons and bringing inspiration to you.
