Red Wine Braised Beef – A Romantic Dinner

Ingredients
 
1/2 carrot, 1 onion, 10 mushrooms
2 celery stalks, 500g beef chunks
2 sprigs of fresh thyme, 2 bay leaves, 2 tbsp tomato paste
200cc red wine, 700cc water
A pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, 1 tbsp sugar, 20g butter
 
Instructions
 
1️⃣Heat the pan, pour in an appropriate amount of oil, and stir-fry the onion, mushrooms, carrot, and celery until fragrant.
2️⃣Add the beef chunks and sear until beautifully browned on all sides.
3️⃣Toss in the thyme, bay leaves, and tomato paste, stirring until the tomato paste is slightly caramelized and aromatic.
4️⃣Pour in the red wine, water, and add all the seasonings. Cover with the lid and bring to a rapid boil on high heat (Power Mode), then reduce to low heat (power level 2) and simmer for 40 to 50 minutes.
5️⃣Just before serving, stir in the butter until completely melted, then remove from heat and plate. Ready to serve!
