What does “3D” really mean?
An innovative cooking appliance that goes beyond traditional IH hobs.
( Did you know IH hobs typically require at least 220V voltage to operate? )
Did you know traditional gas stoves have only 40–50% thermal efficiency?
Technology evolves with time, and there are many types of cooktops on the market. Let Dr. Easy help you understand the differences.
IH stands for Induction Heating. It is a heating method that uses electromagnetic induction. A strong magnetic field induces eddy currents in ferromagnetic cookware, generating heat through electrical resistance inside the metal itself, rather than transferring heat from an external source. This is why IH hobs are also known as induction cooktops or IH induction cookers.
